Henry Lan

MA, Associate

Henry has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University and a Master of Psychology in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from the Adler Graduate Professional School. Henry has an advanced certification in Trauma Psychotherapy and his graduate research interest focused on the treatment of self-harm.  His Major Research Project (MRP) in graduate school was developing a manual for new therapists to aid in their treatment of self-harming clients.

Henry works in private practice providing psychological treatment and assessments services under supervision. He has experience working with different populations including individuals, couples, first responders, and those who have suffered physical, emotional, and/or sexual trauma.

At The Giving Tree Centre, Henry conducts psychological and psychoeducational assessments under supervision, while he works towards licensure with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

​

He prides himself on being respectful and non-judgemental and able to create a safe and comfortable space for clients. You can expect to be treated with kindness, empathy, and understanding.
